Essential Job Functions: Follow all health and safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Ensure adherence to food quality and safety guidelines according to Refresco and customer standards. Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks, validating quantities using appropriate tools. Utilize the SAP database through Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) on forklifts. Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) safely in a fast-paced environment and maintain in-house forklift certification. Supply raw materials to production lines as needed. Conduct pre-trip forklift inspections and manage battery or propane tank safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shifts. Represent the company positively at all times. Other duties may include machine operation as directed by leadership. Required Skills: Ability to read and write job instructions in the necessary language(s). Basic computer skills are required. Demonstrated operation of powered industrial trucks is essential. Forklift certification from an approved Refresco trainer is mandatory. Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills to swiftly address operational issues. Familiarity with warehouse management software for inventory and logistics tracking. Capacity to analyze data to optimize production processes. Participation in safety audits to ensure a secure working environment. Education and Experience: High School Certification or equivalent (GED). 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Working Conditions: Schedules may include weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays as required. Overtime may be necessary. The work environment is fast-paced, with potential noise levels requiring hearing protection and temperature variations. Travel Requirements: 0% travel anticipated. Physical Requirements: Position involves regular physical activity, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Excellent hand-eye coordination is essential for operating equipment. This position may involve mental stress related to deadlines and production quotas.
