Arboriculturalist
A well-established, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Arboricultural Consultant to join its expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute to a wide variety of projects across the South East, including major infrastructure schemes and bespoke residential developments. Youll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team of arboricultural and ecological specialists, delivering high-quality work in both public and private sectors. Responsibilities Conducting tree surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012 Preparing arboricultural reports and impact assessments Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and design teams Providing expert advice to support planning applications Assisting with tree protection and mitigation strategies Supporting project management and delivery with senior consultants
What were looking for
Degree or diploma in Arboriculture (or related field) Strong knowledge of tree identification and surveying Familiarity with BS5837:2012 and planning legislation Excellent communication and report-writing skills Full UK driving licence Arboricultural Association membership (or working towards it) preferred Experience with CAD or GIS is a plus, but not essential
