Indiana University Health Riley Children’s Health at Indiana University Health is launching a national search for a clinician-scientist to lead the next phase of evolution in the GI Division, as the current Aerodigestive Diseases Program leader is stepping down this summer. We are excited to extend the tremendous growth over the past six years as our Division (ranked 15th nationally), the Pulmonary Division (perennially ranked in the top 10 nationally) and the Department of Pediatrics (ranked 6th in total NIH funding nationally) is recruiting for a leadership role within our GI Aerodigestive Disease Program.
Behind the galvanized support of The Riley Children’s Foundation, both the Department and Riley Children’s Hospital are thriving. The Department and Division are led by physician-scientist leaders, and the hospital administration is equally supportive of innovation, research, program growth, and national visibility. We also have several meaningful new or recently established formal relationships with Purdue University (pediatric biomedical device engineering); with the Ricks Family Foundation to support GI, nutrition, and health; with the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute’s orphan drug disease initiative; and with Eli Lilly (for which Indianapolis is the world headquarters). Beyond this, we are proud to highlight Indianapolis as an outstanding place to raise a young family, featuring a fabulous quality of life, great cost of living, and communities immediately surrounding Indianapolis that consistently rank among the top places to live in the U.S., with two communities where faculty typically live listed in the top 5 places to live by U.S. News & World Report.
This position is dually employed by IU Health Medical Group and IU School of Medicine, offering competitive benefits, compensation, quality of life, and opportunity for growth.
We anticipate these and numerous other growth initiatives in this outstanding environment will complement and augment your experience and expertise in aerodigestive disease.
We encourage your consideration of this unique opportunity to craft a position that best aligns with your career goals including serving as the director of the Division’s Aerodigestive clinical operations.
It would be our pleasure to speak with you to discuss in more depth. If you are not interested in this role, but know someone who could be an excellent candidate, please feel free to share our contact information or job link.
