Overview
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP S/4HANA Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Consultant to support the deployment and optimization of our S/4HANA solution. This role will be integral to the successful implementation and ongoing support of MRP processes within a complex A&D environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of S/4HANA MRP functionality, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A Secret Security Clearance is required. Job Responsibilities
Support the deployment of the SAP S/4HANA MRP solution, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Manage MRP cutover and migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Author detailed functional specifications for MRP configurations and custom enhancements. Configure and support MTO Planning Strategies, Use-up, Interplant, ROP, Lead Time Scheduling, Co-products, Subcontracting, Capacity Planning, Variable size planning, planned scrap, MRP Areas, Advance Procurement, and Quota Arrangements. Work with BoMs and Routings in an A&D environment. Support WBS-based planning and the use of Networks with MRP. Build, present, and support user guides for integrated business processes (IBP) and stand-alone business processes (SBP). Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution. Troubleshoot and resolve MRP-related issues during SIT, UAT, and production support. Provide SME support to business users during UAT and Production Support. Support cutover planning and execution for MRP related activities, Manage MRP migration activities Requirements
6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MRP. 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Proven experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MRP functionality, including MTO Planning Strategies, Use-up, Interplant, ROP, Lead Time Scheduling, Co-products, Subcontracting, Capacity Planning, Variable size planning, planned scrap, MRP Areas, Advance Procurement, and Quota Arrangements. Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and Routings, particularly within an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) environment. Experience with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based planning and the use of Networks with MRP. Experience testing custom enhancements. Secret clearance required Must be local to St. Louis and willing to work onsite 5 days per week, willing to relocate to St. Louis or willing to travel 100% to St. Louis Nice to Have
Industry-Specific Experience (A&D) Change Management Experience SAP Certification in MRP or S/4HANA Cross-functional knowledge of the integration points between MM, PP, SD and FI As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
