Maintain a holistic understanding of the IT Delivery roadmap and ensure alignment with backlog tools, enabling automated roadmaps, metrics, and status reporting. Ensure product or adoption KPIs are measurable and integrated into development activities from the outset. Use client personas to refine work items and ensure shared understanding of client needs across the Agile Team. Preserve the integrity and intent of work items during breakdown and refinement, identifying potential gaps or descoping risks. Ensure backlog items are complete, meet the definition of ready/done, and include current, accurate, and actionable information for effective prioritization and reporting. Capture both functional and non-functional requirements with appropriate documentation in the product backlog. Identify and analyze data sources relevant to impacted processes; represent requirements using tools like process maps or spreadsheets, ensuring traceability. Promote and model best practices in Agile methodology, customer journey mapping, and product execution frameworks. Continuously improve tools and techniques within the Business Analysis (BA) discipline. Mentor peers on business analysis practices and keep the team informed of industry and technology trends relevant to our work. Support change control and documentation during production deployment and transition to support teams. Elicit requirements using techniques like personas, story maps, and user stories; collaborate with Product Owners to define and elaborate backlog items, including clear acceptance criteria. Lead story decomposition and process mapping to support agile planning and just-in-time delivery. Work with Product Owners and the Agile team to manage and groom the backlog, define sprint deliverables, and ensure alignment post sprint planning. Review acceptance criteria with engineers and testers to confirm testability and support automation. Coordinate and sometimes execute acceptance testing with business partners and the Agile team. Collaborate with UX teams to incorporate user needs into backlog items and ensure excellent user experience design. Evaluate and configure third-party or cloud-based solutions, including page layouts, workflows, reporting, and dashboards. Support internal testing by documenting results, tracking defects, and troubleshooting issues as needed. Actively engage in solution design discussions, bringing technical acumen to the table and ensuring features meet or exceed expectations. Keep the team informed of project progress by updating ALM tools and participating in daily stand-ups to communicate completed work, upcoming tasks, and any impediments. Qualifications

Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent experience 4+ years experience working as part of an agile team Passionate about the business direction, priorities, results, and customer experience. Analytical and critical thinking abilities with a logical, detail-oriented problem-solving approach Experience with Agile Development Methodologies Self-motivated and results oriented Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to document and communicate requirements Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and with people from diverse backgrounds Able to solve complex business problems and drive customer experience and operational efficiency objectives Innovative approach to problem solving IIBA certifications are a plus Duties and Responsibilities (continued)

The base salary range for applicants for this position is $80,630.00-$165,500.00. Actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience. Unum also offers healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
