Summary
The Director, Business Development, leads the growth of iTech AG’s commercial portfolio by identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities across commercial, state, and local markets. This role is responsible for driving full-lifecycle sales efforts for iTech AG’s core capabilities, including digital transformation, cloud enablement, platform integration (e.g., ServiceNow), and enterprise solutions. The Director will build and execute sales strategies that align with iTech AG’s core capabilities and deliver long-term client value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of commercial go-to-market strategies that align with iTech AG’s service offerings and market differentiators. Identify, qualify, and manage the pursuit of new business opportunities, guiding prospects through the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution. Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics as defined by leadership. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target markets. Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline using CRM and data-driven forecasting to inform strategy and resource needs. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, proposal, solutions, and delivery, to develop tailored client solutions and ensure smooth post-sale handoff. Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to shape positioning and outreach efforts. Represent iTech AG at client meetings, conferences, and industry events to drive brand visibility and thought leadership. Provide regular updates and insights to executive leadership on pipeline activity, client feedback, and strategic growth areas. Collaborate, finetune, and introduce best practices to current processes that would better support the nonfederal market. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. 4+ years of business development and sales experience in the IT services industry, with proven success in commercial markets. Deep understanding of enterprise IT services including cloud platforms, digital modernization, and platform implementation (e.g., ServiceNow). Ability to learn quickly, including technical and financial topics. Demonstrated ability to build trust with C-level executives and translate business needs into actionable IT solutions. Proficiency in using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and forecast performance. Track record of landing and expanding accounts through consultative, value-based selling. Ability to travel to as needed to attend conferences, client meetings, events and to collaborate in-person at iTech AG’s headquarters. Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
