Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. Job Responsibilities
Proactively engages with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment. You will use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
Utilize digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless and onboarding solutions to help customers self-serve and use the T-Mobile app, deepening relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products and processes, and knowledge of systems and resources. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates on the Hub to be Customer Ready at all times. Partner with nearby store locations to properly onboard customers. Perform skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, and opening/closing procedures. Carry keys to kiosks and assets, secure them, and report losses to management.
Be customer-obsessed: engage with customers in a friendly, engaging manner, build rapport and loyalty, and exceed customer expectations. Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity, follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with new and existing customers. You may perform price overrides for specialty offers specific to National Retail.
Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; Retail environment preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate with the ability to connect with customers and balance experience with performance goals (Required)
Team Building: Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, share best practices, and resolve issues (Required)
Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced environment (Required)

Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $20.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.
Within the first 90 days working at T-Mobile, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full-time status. All employees at T-Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
