We are seeking an RAN Cloud Engineer with expertise in OAMP/FCAPS/OSS for EMS/NMS and RAN network elements. Responsibilities include: Integrating and troubleshooting EMS/NMS/OSS/OAMP/FCAPS subsystems in wireless networks. Providing Tier 2/Tier 3 supportworking under pressure to troubleshoot issues, propose workarounds, and coordinate with R&D teams for root cause analysis. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to develop product and system requirements, and perform performance analysis. Working closely with support organizations and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product rollouts and developments. Ensuring customer commitments are met according to plan. Traveling as needed during project phases. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience with OAMP/FCAPS/OSS in EMS/NMS and RAN network elements. Bachelors degree in EE/CS/TE required; Masters preferred. Experience in authoring and implementing EMS/NMS/NE software upgrade MOPs in commercial networks. SME experience in Tier 2/Tier 3 supporttroubleshooting, workarounds, root cause analysis with R&D. Design and development experience with EMS/NMS/OAMP/FCAPS in telecom industry. Knowledge of network management systems and high-availability system design/support. Understanding of Netconf, YANG models, REST APIs, VES/SNMP standards, and NMS/OSS interfaces. Experience with Automation & Orchestration frameworks (ETSI MANO, TOSCA, ONAP) is beneficial. Proficiency in SW upgrade MOPs and root cause analysis of high-severity issues. Experience with Openstack/Kubernetes environments is advantageous. Familiarity with 3GPP systems, core and RAN networks, protocols. Experience in Java and web-based applications development is a plus. Knowledge of virtual switches, network connections, security groups, VLANs, and storage configuration (SAN/NAS/iSCSI). Hands-on troubleshooting experience with command-line tools, L2/L3 switches, and routers. Understanding of IP protocols and QoS.
