Network and Computer Systems Administrator - Entry to Advanced . This role will support a Navy customer in Patuxent River, Maryland.
Job Description and Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify the completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Education and Basic Requirements:
ADVANCED:
Graduate Degree from an accredited university OR approved CSWF training OR certification. 7 or more years of experience related to the job requirements.
INTERMEDIATE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR approved CSWF training OR certification. 3 or more years of relevant experience or military OJT.
ENTRY:
Associates degree OR appropriate Navy CSWF training, certification(s), OR on-the-job training.
Security Clearance: Top Secret (must be a US citizen)
Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
