Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital imaging department Perform general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound procedures including abdomen, small parts, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular studies Utilize Canon i700 ultrasound equipment, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS for patient care and documentation Variable shift schedule with 40-hour workweeks and potential for on-call shifts May float to other units or departments as needed Responsibilities include conducting complex ultrasound studies, supporting invasive procedures, and documenting findings in the EMR Travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to starting the assignment Plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before Monday start date for pre-assignment health clearance Personal scrubs or professional healthcare attire required Must be available for assignments across all shifts, including potential weekend and holiday coverage Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a sonographer in an acute hospital setting Active ARDMS certifications in AB, OB, and RVT required Current AHA BLS certification required Demonstrated proficiency in ultrasound procedures such as abdomen, GYN, OB (all trimesters), vascular, neonatal, and superficial structures Ability to perform procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative studies Experience with Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614338.
