Job Summary: Alluvionic is seeking a Lead Personnel Security Specialist who will serve as the primary technical expert and team lead within the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), Security and Emergency Management Staff (SEMS). This role is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and managing complex and evolving personnel security requirements for National Security and Public Trust investigations across all 94 United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs). The incumbent will play a critical leadership role in supporting EOUSA's mission to protect personnel, facilities, and sensitive information. Must be US Citizen Clearance Required: Yes Obtain a High-Risk Public Trust (T4) This is an onsite position. Responsibilities: Lead and manage EOUSA's personnel security operations, ensuring compliance with federal laws, executive orders, and Department of Justice (DOJ) policy. Implement and adapt to continuously evolving personnel security background investigation requirements, including those for National Security Information (NSI) and Public Trust positions. Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of personnel security specialists to maintain high performance and mission focus. Review and adjudicate complex background investigations for national security and public trust clearances, ensuring timely and accurate determinations. Interpret and apply federal adjudicative guidelines, including Executive Orders 12968 and 13467, and other applicable security directives (e.g., SEADs, ICDs). Coordinate with DCSA, DOJ Security Programs, and other relevant agencies to manage and monitor investigation workflows. Maintain personnel security records in federal security systems such as e-QIP, DISS/JPAS, CVS, and Scattered Castles. Prepare security briefings, reports, and policy recommendations for EOUSA and USAO leadership. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with security policy requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant personnel security experience

OR

No degree and a minimum of 15 years of relevant personnel security experience , specifically involving National Security Information background investigations and Public Trust determinations. Proven experience in implementing and managing complex and evolving personnel security programs. Strong working knowledge of federal security processes, adjudicative guidelines, and investigative standards. Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising or leading security teams in a federal or contractor environment. Proficiency with security systems such as e-QIP, DISS/JPAS, CVS, and related platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior officials. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience supporting EOUSA, DOJ, or other federal law enforcement or legal agencies. Familiarity with insider threat, industrial security, or physical security programs. Security-related certifications (e.g., SFPC, SAPPC, or equivalent) are a plus. Experience managing or responding to audits and policy compliance reviews.
