Code Compliance Officer $65,790.40 - $71,884.80 Annually The principal function of an employee in this class is to enforce local ordinances and codes as well as to inspect and investigate complaints of non-compliance. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of an assigned supervisor but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with their assigned supervisor, other departmental personnel, local businesses, homeowners, contractors, engineers, other City employees, and the general public.

The principal duties of this class are performed at various properties and/or construction sites with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and terrains.

Facilities Worker $67,891.20 Annually The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a broad range of generalized and specialized functions to support the maintenance and repair of City facilities, lands, and infrastructure. The work is performed under the general supervision and direction of the Assistant Facilities Superintendent, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned supervisors, other City employees, and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, with possible exposure to a variety of terrains, weather conditions, hazardous materials, and airborne pathogens.

Lifeguards $22.00/hour Summer is almost here and the City of Bozeman is now recruiting for Short Term Lifeguards!

We are looking for candidates who can commit to the entire season (May or June-August.)

Recreation Program Manager $98,775.97 - $108,543.99 Annually The principal function of an employee in this class is to provide leadership and to plan, organize, direct and supervise the functions of the Recreation Division. The work is performed under the direction of the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, but extensive leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Supervision is exercised over all related division employees. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Director of Parks and Recreation, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Commission, school district personnel, members of business and community groups, other City employees, the media, and the general public. The principal duties of this class are performed in various recreational settings, both indoor and outdoor work environments, with exposure to a variety of terrains, weather conditions, chemicals, and blood-borne and airborne pathogens.

Water Reclamation Short-Term Worker $22.00 Hourly The City’s Water Reclamation Facility is in search of a short-term worker to learn wastewater operations under the guidance of certified Water Reclamation Facility (WRF)Operators. This includes flow adjustments, sampling water for quality control, monitoring plant performance, cleaning and calibrating equipment, handling chemicals safely, and learning Water Reclamation Facility data management and maintenance software.
