Vice President of Finance & Operations Department: Operations Reports to: President - CEO OT Status: Exempt Purpose :The Vice President of Finance & Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic and day-to-day oversight of Hestan Commercial’s financial and supply chain functions. This role will lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, reporting, accounting, procurement, logistics, production planning, inventory control, and vendor management. While finance and supply chain are the core priorities, this position will also provide functional oversight of IT and HR in coordination with department leaders. The Vice President will directly oversee a team of approximately 20 employees, including department managers and individual contributors across finance, supply chain, and operations. This is an on-site leadership position that requires high engagement with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and frontline operations. TO FULFILL THIS POSITION SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY. Lead and manage financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. Oversee budgeting, cash flow, accounting (AP/AR/GL), and payroll operations. Please make sure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements. Provide leadership in cost analysis, margin optimization, and capital planning. Partner with executive leadership to assess financial risks and growth opportunities. Supply Chain & Operations: Direct end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Optimize inventory management, vendor performance, and warehouse efficiency to drive operational excellence. Support production planning, scheduling, and capacity alignment with business goals. Champion continuous improvement initiatives in cost control, efficiency, and lead times. Please make sure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in supply chain and manufacturing operations. Leadership and Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20 staff across finance, operations, and supply chain, including managers and frontline employees. Set clear objectives, accountability, and performance metrics. Foster a culture of collaboration, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. Represent the company in key internal and external engagements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION SUCCESSFULLY. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and operations within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Proven success in turnaround, high-growth, or transformation environments. Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing change, and achieving financial and operational goals. Communication Skills: Clear and confident communicator who can translate complex data into actionable business insights Skilled in preparing executive-level presentations, board reports, and operational briefings Strong interpersonal skills to build alignment and influence across departments Capable of handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, GAAP, and budgeting practices Deep knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain processes, and vendor management Familiarity with ERP systems and process integration (e.g., SAP, Plex, Oracle) Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control Strategic sourcing, procurement negotiation, and inventory optimization Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-demand environment Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with day-to-day execution Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and resolve operational challenges Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure Compensation: The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $225,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
