Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimize company IT systems, cloud platforms, and endpoint management to ensure usability, compliance, and security for a hybrid workforce. Manage access and identity with automated workflows, supporting least-privilege and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, etc.). Build and maintain user-facing resources, such as internal knowledge bases, with a focus on leveraging genAI to automate ticket triage and resolve common IT requests, improving response time and user satisfaction. Monitor security posture and network health, acting on alerts from advanced security platforms. Lead or support IT process automation, scripting, and proof-of-concept evaluations for emerging technologies, especially those that drive self-service and rapid support for end users. Foster a culture of continual improvement, scalability, and knowledge sharing in line with evolving enterprise IT and automation trends. Serve as the Face of IT in the Chicago office. Expected Outcomes Develop and deploy automation to streamline recurring IT support tasks-such as account provisioning, password resets, and software installations-resulting in a 25% reduction in manual effort by the end of 2025. Establish best practices for Glean adoption and data curation, working with key stakeholders to drive implementation and ensuring high data hygiene for effective AI tools (by end of 2025). Deploy systems and methods to measure, monitor, and optimize the impact of deployed AI tools by end of 2025. Identify and implement RPA and/or AI-based solutions that eliminate current costs for RPA consulting ($51k annually) within two quarters. Evangelize AI-enabled automation throughout the business and improve overall CSAT in Knowledge Management and Knowledge Discovery. Competencies & Experience Required 3+ years of experience in systems or network administration. Experience administering Google Workspace, identity management tools (e.g., Okta), endpoint protection (e.g., Crowdstrike), and Mobile Device Management (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, InTune). Experience with AI-powered workplace technologies, automation, and digital collaboration platforms. Familiarity with agentic AI tools, AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and workplace automation tools. Demonstrated ability to manage workload, prioritize independently, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Experience leading large-scale technology change management initiatives and driving user adoption. Proven ability to work cross-functionally, drive alignment between business units and IT, and translate business needs into technology solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with stakeholder management experience. Experience managing enterprise cloud-based workplace solutions and integrations. Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance considerations related to workplace technologies. Compensation The expected range for this position is $84,000 - $95,000 per year. This range reflects typical earning potential in this role. When determining an offer, we take into account a variety of factors that are important in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill sets; experience and tenure; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is based on market data. Salary bands may, in some circumstances, be adjusted to a different geographic area depending on the candidate's position and location.
