*Job Overview* We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate law along with property tax knowledge and be adept at navigating complex legal issues related to commercial properties for property tax value issues. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of property tax code, and the ability to conduct comprehensive legal research & negotiation . The successful candidate will work closely with clients, opposing counsel, working closing with experts in property tax valuation providing expert guidance litigation matters.

*Duties*

* Provide legal advice and representation & negotiation in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leases, property tax value issue * Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions & property tax litigation. * Conduct due diligence investigations to assess property value issues and review expert reports. * Represent clients in disputes involving property tax issues, , and other real estate-related litigation. * Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for resolving disputes and achieving their real estate objectives in property tax valuation with the Districts. * Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting commercial real estate to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. * Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal arguments. * Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence related to ongoing cases.

*Requirements*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. * Proven experience in commercial real estate law or a related field. * Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, environmental law, litigation processes, and negotiation tactics. * Familiarity with areas such as estate planning, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and tribal regulations is preferred. * Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents. * Strong research skills with proficiency in using legal research platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw. * Previous experience in a law office setting is highly desirable. * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,212.16 - $117,072.71 per year
