Credentialing Specialist
to join our administrative/billing team.
Position Summary The
Credentialing Specialist
manages all aspects of provider credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for multiple disciplines and locations. This position ensures that all providers are properly credentialed, compliant, and authorized to deliver care within our expanding network.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers across therapy, chiropractic, and DME services.
Prepare, submit, and maintain payer applications and enrollments, including CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS.
Track and monitor expirables such as licenses, certifications, and insurance documents.
Communicate effectively with insurance payers, providers, and internal departments to resolve credentialing issues.
Maintain accurate, organized credentialing records and ensure compliance with all payer and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with HR and billing teams to support provider onboarding and updates.
Qualifications Required:
2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing or payer enrollment.
Familiarity with CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and insurance payer portals.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
Preferred:
Experience in a
multi-location or multi-state healthcare organization .
Background in
therapy, chiropractic, or DME credentialing .
Knowledge of payer processes and regulations in
Louisiana and Texas .
