Business Processes Consultant
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible to broaden technical and application knowledge to be capable to perform E2E analysis of the technology stack or of an E2E Business process. The candidate will advise customers and support different SAP units. Achieve broad knowledge about our portfolio and take over positioning, explanation, and scoping tasks for all standard services in the Virtual Project Room to support front office, solutioning, and sales. Take responsibility of tasks in the team and contribute to the value generated by the delivery team for a technology area or business process. Resolve issues of moderate complexity related to a technical component or business process step without general work direction. Work independently within given area of responsibility along our delivery processes and methodologies. Improve service procedures based on customer feedback and communicate with SAP development to improve SAP products. Develop best practices based on the delivery experience. Support the resolution of critical customer situations, production downs, and escalations. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must involve three (3) years in the following: Performing solution support development and analysis in SAP's Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP); Analyzing and evaluating SAP Business Warehouse (BW) configurations and strategies based on customer system requirements; Converting the evolving customer system requirements into viable solution support blueprints; Determining and implementing Best Practices for enhanced solution architecture, development, and configuration of BW objects, including data store objects (DSOs), transformations, and extractors; and Creating BW extractors, data models, and Business Explorer (BEx) queries using SAP layered scalable architecture (LSA) in the BW system.
