Overview The Commissioning Team Manager is responsible for efficiently executing Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning services for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality standards. Your focus will be on driving project outcomes with a solutions-oriented mindset while collaborating with the entire project delivery team, including engineering and construction management. Responsibilities Adhere to safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Provide mentorship and management to the assigned team. Participate actively in developing project scope, technical approaches, KPIs, staffing plans, and estimates. Establish and update Project Execution Plans to meet project objectives within budget and schedule. Develop and maintain monthly cost forecasts for projects. Manage delivery schedules, integrating tasks with the master project schedule, and actively participate in scheduling meetings. Keep updated on project scope adjustments, particularly in automation and MEP disciplines, and inform relevant team members of potential issues. Track resource allocation and project KPIs to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Monitor energy performance during the construction phase, ensuring targets are achieved. Coordinate with the project team to accurately document and communicate project requirements. Assist in resolving design or construction issues by ensuring proper communication and tracking. Work closely with the Energy Management team to address existing conditions and prioritize responses effectively. Proactively identify and escalate constraints to project outcome achievement. Ensure effective communication within the project team regarding tasks and updates. Review project-related expense reports for accuracy and compliance. Conduct project closeout activities including reports, team reviews, and lessons learned meetings. Exemplify adherence to IS Delivery and Technical Services process guidelines. Embrace and promote the company's core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in commissioning or related mechanical, electrical, or building automation fields. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership capabilities along with a focus on safety. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work with minimal information and adapt as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based commissioning software. Preferred Certifications: Engineering Intern (EI) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Commissioning Certification from ACG, BCxA, ASHRAE. Experience in design and programming of building automation systems. Work Environment: Quiet environment and outdoor elements like precipitation and wind. Occasional noisy conditions. Physical Requirements: Climbing stairs and ascending/descending ladders or scaffolding. Remaining stationary for extended periods. Operating machinery and power tools. Medium work involving adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Travel Requirements: Travel to job sites/offices is expected 0-5% of the time. Pay Range: USD $88,380.00 - USD $117,970.00 /Yr.
