About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Psychiatrist to oversee our clinical psychiatric operations. This pivotal role combines 50% hands-on psychiatric care with 50% strategic leadership, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on mental health services. You will provide patient care in various settings, including a Psychiatric Emergency Department, Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, and Inpatient Facility for individuals with mental health or substance use needs. Your key clinical responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing psychotropic medications. As a CMO, you will also lead medical staff administration, oversee quality improvement initiatives, and mentor providers to foster a collaborative and innovative culture. To qualify, you must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in Psychiatry, be board-certified in your field, and possess a valid Virginia medical license. A DEA registration and CPI Advanced Skills certification are required, along with an MBA, MHA, MMM, or MPH. Ideally, candidates will have 7-10 years of clinical experience paired with increasing administrative responsibilities. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, enhance performance metrics, and drive improvements in EHR workflows and data analytics.
