Assembler Technician – Pumps & Mixers
1st Shift | 4x10 Schedule | Up to 50 Hours/Week
Knightstown, IN
Aegis Worldwide is seeking an Assembler Technician to join a rapidly growing manufacturing operation. This role is hands-on and dynamic, focused on building pumps, mixers, and electro-mechanical equipment from blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical assembly experience, quality inspection skills, and the ability to adapt to different builds each day. Responsibilities
Assemble pumps, mixers, and subassemblies from detailed blueprints and schematics.
Perform quality checks including visual inspection, dimensional verification, and functionality testing.
Assemble hydraulic systems using correct torque, wrenches, and sealants.
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling.
Manage inventory, issue parts to work orders, and assist with packaging/shipping.
Rotate through different tasks within the department and adapt to changing priorities.
Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
5+ years of
mechanical assembly experience
in heavy industrial, fabrication, or equipment manufacturing settings.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
Experience performing quality checks on finished goods.
Mechanical knowledge of pumps, motors, and hydraulics.
Overhead crane and forklift experience a plus (training available).
High school diploma or GED required; trade/vocational school .
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay:
Up to $30/hr, depending on experience.
Overtime:
Friday OT available/required as needed.
Schedule:
1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Hours:
Up to 50 per week.
