Business / Data Analyst
- Location: Carson, CA ( Not a remote position)
- Reports to: VP, Transformation
- Type: Full-Time
- Target Start: Oct 1, 2025
- Level: Entry (0-2 years experience)
About the Role
In this role you will be partnering with the Transformation office to help provide analysis of business data to be used across the organization. This role is highly cross-functional, where you will own the data backbone for various projects with a primary focus on project budgeting. Construction experience is not required, rather we value an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn and a self-starter.
What you’ll do
- [Primary] Data analysis: Aggregate and perform statistical analysis on business data, integrating data from multiple sources and functional areas to include writing queries or reports
- [Primary] Data maintenance: Maintain and improve datasets, models, reports, and dashboards
- Business Problem Solving: Partner closely w/ the VP of Transformation to help drive data-based business decisions across the organization, with the ability to work with various stakeholders and communicate effectively
- Process Improvement: Constantly identify areas of improvement within existing processes, tools, and workflows
- Ownership: Be able to work independently, communicate upwards, own their work and quickly learn / adapt
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subjects preferred (e.g., math, computer science, business, finance, economics, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in data analytical tools: Excel/Power Query, (SQL, Python a plus / willing to self-learn)
- Statistical horsepower: run regression analysis, build out complex models, sort through large, complex sets of business data
- High EQ: ability to work and communicate cross-functional across the organization w/ various stakeholders (sales, procurement, project management, etc.)
- Intellectual curiosity: proactive approach to personal career growth and learning
- Detail-oriented: attentive to detail and organized
Compensation range: base **** 50-60k
