Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,284 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiac Surgery Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required. License: Must be in hand at submission. Certifications: BLS must be certified through American Heart Association only. Must-Have: Experience in cardiac ECMO, transplant cases, endovascular procedures, laparoscopic cases, and trauma. Description: The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery. They promote the safety of the patient during surgery. They provide assistance to the surgeon during surgery. They care for the patient during surgery and care for the instruments and supplies used in surgery. The Surgical Technologist functions to promote the safety of the patient as a member of the surgical team. The incumbent possesses knowledge and skills required to assist in effectively caring for patients of all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Experience in high-caliber complex surgeries is required. Floating to multiple units may occur based on staffing needs. Weekends and holiday rotations may be required. Compliance with competency testing is necessary prior to starting the role. Pass/Fail testing will be conducted with strict passing criteria. Telemetry competency must be maintained on file.
