Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,902 per week in Santa Maria, CA

One year experience working in a home setting preferred, but not required. Description: Unit notes include PT, OT, and Speech. Certification in Speech is preferred or required. BLS certification is required. The charting system used is Cerner. Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA support is available, with preference typically given to permanent staff. Weekend requirements are every third weekend. Holidays are minor, with major holidays only if needed. Scrub color/uniform is business attire with a white lab coat; no jeans permitted. The majority of work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates will be assigned to a specific geographical region. A floor-specific orientation lasting 1.5 to 2 weeks is provided. Common diagnoses and types of patients include orthopedic cases, strokes, joint issues, spinal injuries, and speech therapy needs.
