Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant Profession: PTA Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Oasis (government mandated form) One year experience working in PT/OT/Speech Home health setting experience preferred but not required Description: Unit Notes: Unit: PT, OT, Speech - Home based care Certifications: Requires BLS EMR: Cerner Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA: Usually permanent staff Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend Holidays: Minor holidays, major only if needed Scrub Color/Uniform: Business attire with white lab coat, no jeans Outpatient and Inpatient: Not applicable Shifts: Majority of work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Areas of Coverage: Assigned to a geographical region Floor Specific Orientation: 1.5-2 weeks Common Diagnoses / Types of Patients: PT/OT - orthopedics, strokes, joints, spinal injuries; Speech - various conditions Additional Notes: Candidates must have experience with Oasis.
