Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fire Safety, ARRT, CA Radiologic Technologist, Fluoroscopy Must-Have: - BLS - ARRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License - Fluoroscopy - LA City Fire Safety Description: Unit has 2 suites/labs. Average of 5 cases per day. Staff includes 3 Cath Lab/IR Technologists. On-call requirement for weekends, 1 to 2 weekends a month. Response time for on-call staff is 30 minutes. 1 holiday required during the assignment. Shifts are 8 hours, 5 days a week. Common cases include RHC, LHC, PCI, EP, Rotablator, and Peripherals. Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner. Position requires a BSN. Candidate must hold necessary licenses and certifications.
