Shift : Day - 10x4 - 07AM Description: Assists cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures. Prepares procedure rooms, obtains necessary equipment, and ensures safe patient preparation and monitoring. Functions as a scrub assistant, supporting imaging, documentation, and circulator duties during procedures. Interprets electrocardiograms and hemodynamic pressure tracings, and assists in analytical calculations for diagnostic values. Demonstrates proficiency in advanced imaging modalities including IVUS, ICE, FFR, IFR, RFR, and OCT. Supports patient care before, during, and after procedures including sheath removal, groin management, and transport. Manages inventory, surgical instruments, and equipment in compliance with safety and infection control guidelines. Performs quality control checks, ensures equipment functionality, and coordinates maintenance or repairs when needed. Experience: One year scrub technician or cardiac technician experience preferred License: Not specified Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; RCIS preferred Must-Have: Graduate of a certificate or degree program in health science (cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or paramedic/EMT); Bachelor’s degree preferred
