Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,706 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: IR Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: ACLS preferred Description: Covers both vascular and neuro procedures. Monitors and interprets hemodynamic monitoring. Observes sterile technique while assembling supplies necessary for procedures. Maintains patient and unit confidentiality without infraction. Prepares entry site applicable to the procedure using sterile technique. Continuously monitors patient ECG and blood pressure while documenting and advising the physician of any activity in an accurate and timely manner. Participates in the on-call rotation and remains available for emergent procedures 24 hours a day. Acts as the code team by initiating resuscitative measures and cardiac defibrillators under the direct supervision of the physician in charge. Documents all procedures performed accurately. Participates in educational and in-service opportunities. Instructs radiography students in the clinical setting on patient positioning and equipment manipulation. Maintains specialization in neuroradiology and vascular interventional radiology procedures. Participates in inventory management of the department. Checks and prepares patients prior to procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities. Scrubs provided. Call requirements include 1-2 shifts per week and every 3rd or 4th weekend. Possible holiday call with a 30-minute callback time. Covers procedures such as cerebral interventions, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting.
