Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT/X Ray Specialty: Imaging Duration: Contract Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certifications: Active ARRT for CT or eligibility within specified time frame Must-Have: Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and basic understanding of human physiology Description: Skilled CT Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and perform CT (Computed Tomography) and Diagnostic Radiological studies. Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for Radiology Technology. Completion of CT training (structured or on the job) is required. 1-year field experience is preferred. Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and a basic understanding of human physiology is necessary. Ability to adapt exam routines and techniques when necessary to optimize the quality of exams is essential. Ability to perform venipuncture is required. Knowledge of sterile preparations and procedures is important. Active Registered Technologist (ARRT) for CT, or CT registered within 2 years from hire/transfer date for trainees, or 18 months from hire/transfer date for registry eligible staff is required. Multi-Comp CT Technologist to perform CT and X-ray exams for in-house and emergency department patients.
