Description: Assigned to programs and initiatives under the management of the Office of Ambulatory Care and Population Health. Project Managers will be responsible for providing project-level support for key workstreams within complex direct service programs. Specific responsibilities may include supporting all aspects of project lifecycles for assigned workstreams, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Develop and maintain templates and tools to track project progress, facilitate the collection of project information and metrics, and manage the dissemination of updates related to project status. Monitor the progress of projects and the status of deliverables while proactively escalating any issues or risks. Serve as a point of contact for various departments, city agencies, and contracted vendors. Assist in planning and conducting trainings, including creating any required training materials. Provide on-site support related to project implementation and oversight. Provide policy and operational support and guidance while helping to develop strategies for improving service delivery within the assigned workstream. Assist in reviewing and approving invoices and provide recommendations related to budgetary planning. Experience working with educational programs and community service providers is preferred. Candidates must be reliable for independent work and able to lead change as part of a collaborative team. Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with a variety of individuals, groups, and organizations is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required, including the ability to tailor technical material to various audiences. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in all work products is necessary. Keen attention to detail, flexibility, and an enthusiastic work ethic are crucial. Fluency in languages other than English, particularly Spanish, is a plus. Experience managing multiple external contractors/vendors is strongly preferred. 3 or more years of program/project management experience is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
