Azure Engineer - Database Architect

for a

contract

with a client in

Chicago, IL(Remote).

Candidates must have hands-on experience designing and integrating data pipelines using Azure technologies and SQL-based platforms.

Rate Range:

$50/hour to 53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure Engineer - Database Architect job responsibilities include:

Design and implement scalable data architectures using Azure services such as Azure SQL, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics. Develop and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) across diverse data sources. Perform data quality analysis and integration, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support M&A data migration and integration initiatives. Create technical documentation and data models, including metadata repositories and master data management strategies. Optimize data delivery and infrastructure, leveraging automation and best practices for performance and scalability. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years in data engineering or database architecture, with at least 3 years working in Azure cloud environments. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake, and integration technologies like Logic Apps and Power Automate. Pay Details:

$50.00 to $53.00 per hour
