Facility has 182 licensed beds and a Trauma Level IV designation. It is a teaching hospital with multiple specialized centers, including a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center. Travelers must have a permanent address that is 50 miles outside the home unit. The department averages 325 patients per day across modalities. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient types include a variety of diagnoses from emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient areas. Photo ID will be collected during the compliance process. No state licensure is required.
