Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: Not specified Number of Staff: Roughly 10 people on day shift, increasing to 16. Type of Staff: Mix of technicians and registered nurses. Night shift: Not applicable. Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of Equipment: EMR systems include Merge, Meditech, and Claris. Typical Procedures: All EP ablations including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and VT/PVC. All EP devices including permanent pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, and loop implants. Machines and Equipment Used: Claris. Dress Code: Scrub color is navy. Hospital-provided scrubs only due to the sterile environment. General Comments: No weekends required, but late shifts are necessary.
