Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $2,647 per week in Grass Valley, CA

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Speech Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP Must-Have: Acute care experience managing patients with dysphagia Description: Unit requires a Speech Language Pathologist for a speech rehabilitation setting. Duties include treatment of patients with dysphagia, cognitive evaluations, and related therapies. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient care. Expected daily patient load is 8-10 individuals. Travelers may be asked to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). Scheduling requests for holidays will be considered, but not guaranteed. All modules must be completed before the start of the assignment, taking an estimated 3-4 hours. The dress code consists of a burgundy polo top and black scrub bottoms. Department-specific orientation will be provided. The charting system used is Cerner. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment.
