Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $2,280 per week in Napa, CA

They must be fully SLP-CCC certified. Two years of inpatient and outpatient experience preferred. First-time travelers are not accepted. One weekend day per week is required. BLS certification is required. No on-call duty is required. Travelers may float throughout the hospital on acute floors. Block scheduling accommodations may be considered at the manager's discretion. Local candidates are accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility has a policy allowing them to call off once per two-week pay period. The type of facility is an acute care hospital with 200 staffed beds. The hospital uses Epic for charting. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and social services. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The average daily census is 10 patients. There are 14 beds in the unit. The unit may involve various patient diagnoses such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and neurological disorders. Travelers are expected to float between nearby facilities if required. Travelers must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting are required.
