Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $40 to $48 per hour in Napa, CA

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehab Location: Napa, CA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (5x8 hrs, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Start Date: September 22, 2025 Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience in adult rehab, dysphagia management, and interdisciplinary care, with a commitment to improving communication and swallowing function for patients. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies. Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and discharge recommendations. Provide patient and family education to support therapy outcomes. Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment in compliance with hospital standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and nursing. Provide care for adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as: Stroke, TBI, trauma, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, degenerative diseases, dysphagia, dysarthria, and voice disorders. Float as needed to acute care hospital units within the facility. Work Details Inpatient and outpatient rehab caseloads. Guaranteed hours; facility may flex one shift per pay period. Weekend requirement: one weekend day per week . Patient population: Adults and geriatrics. Average daily census: 10 patients. Additional Information New grads accepted only if they have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and hold full SLP-CCC certification.
