ID: 72494721 Shift: 8H Days 8 Hour Days Mon-Thur, Friday 4 Hours Description: Unit Date: 10/20Ultrasound Tech - High Risk Maternal Fetal Medicine/OBStart Dates are not flexible.100 mile radius ruleEpic EMR proficiency required and recent.No 48-hour guarantees.No blocked scheduling requests.No more than 5 days of RTO.-High Risk Ultrasound Experience Required - MFM required-First trimester dating and early anatomic assessments-Detailed second and third trimester anatomic assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound-Patients: newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric-Assists the physician as needed in performing additional imaging or biopsy procedures.-Completes exam charges and image documentation and forwards to radiologist timely.Requirements:-ARDMS-AHA BLS-Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or Graduate of Accredited Sonography Program required. BA preferred-Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification is preferred.Incumbent must exhibit proficiency in the MFM Ultrasound Technician III required competencies (listed below)Preferred: Two (2) years experience in ultrasound preferredMFM Ultrasound Technician III required terminology, basic anatomy and physiology.Diagnostic imaging studies in all trimesters, including first trimester dating and early anatomic assessments, detailed second and third trimester anatomic assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, Doppler studies, and transvaginal ultrasound.Multiple forms of ultrasound imaging: transabdominal, transvaginal, multiplanar imaging, and multiple forms of Doppler assessment.Screening and diagnostic obstetric ultrasounds in all trimesters: First trimester studies for dating, aneuploidy screening, and early fetal anatomic assessment; Detailed/targeted second trimester ultrasounds for anatomic assessment and aneuploidy screening; Third trimester ultrasounds for anatomic assessments, fetal growth monitoring, Doppler studies, and antenatal testing. Advanced fetal imaging studies: Genetic sonograms; Multiplanar imaging for diagnostic purposes and post processing; Doppler studies for multiple clinical and ultrasound indications: Fetal echocardiography - screening and diagnostic; Multiple gestations.Ultrasounds related to invasive diagnostic testing - genetic amniocentesis Minimal gynecologic ultrasounds regarding findings relative to pregnancy: Mullerian anomaly evaluation; Adnexal pathology; Cervical assessment. Adherence to protocols established by accredited obstetric imaging organization: AIUM Cancellation may cancel hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the assignment 36, 40, or 48 for a 13 week assignment. For all 26-week assignments, the cancellation policy will be doubled.
