Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,951 per week in Roanoke, VA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 18:00 Experience: Three years of experience required License: ARRT plus state license required or RCIS / CCI certification required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Interventional Radiology or critical care experience preferred - Current RTT or RTR status - Committed to start on the specified date Description: ASAP start preferred. Four 10-hour days, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus call. Seven on-call shifts and five late shifts every six weeks. Thirty-minute call back time. Rotating day off. One week of call every six weeks must be taken together. Remaining days of call obligation can be taken randomly within the six-week time span. One Saturday shift coverage for elective cases in that six weeks. All staff rotate holidays. Current patient demographic includes young, middle, and older adults. Experience with advanced cardiac procedures is preferred. Candidates must have experience with diagnostic catheterizations, coronary interventions, and related cardiac procedures. Ability to perform accurately under pressure and demonstrate proficiency in monitoring, care, and maintenance of central venous lines. Knowledge of various cardiac devices and interventions is crucial. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. Fosters effective communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings. Applicants who are willing to work one holiday per 13-week assignment and meet on-call requirements are highly desirable. Must comply with all organizational policies and procedures. Candidates with experience in trauma or community settings are preferred. This position involves the use of specialized equipment and supporting invasive cardiac interventions.
