Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,031 per week in Roanoke, VA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 18:00 Experience: Two years required, three years preferred License: ARRT or other state license required; RCIS / CCI certification required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Current RTT or RTR status Ability to work on another state license while Virginia license is pending Description: ASAP start preferred, 13 weeks with the option to extend up to 26 weeks. Work hours are four ten-hour days, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus on-call shifts. There will be rotating day off. One week of call every six weeks. Call obligation includes both weekend and weekday shifts. All travelers and staff rotate holidays. Experience in Interventional Radiology or critical care preferred. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of various cardiac procedures. Work settings include Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs. Age range of patients includes young, middle-aged, and older adults. Key procedures involve diagnostic catheterizations, coronary interventions, and various placements. Familiarity with Epic is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate must have experience with Impella insertion, IABP insertion/removal, TAVR, and Watchman procedures. Skills required include accurate monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, and performing EKG lead placement. Understanding of life-threatening arrhythmias and ability to maintain sterile field is essential. Experience with advanced equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps and optical coherence tomography is necessary.
