Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,886 per week in San Angelo, TX

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: - Cath lab scrub, pan, and closures for all heart and leg procedures - Device insertions (pacemakers/ICDs) - IR and EP experience preferred Description: This position requires being on call one weekend per month (Friday to Sunday). A minimum of five weekdays is needed for a total of at least eight days on call each month. Responsibilities include assisting with the scrub, pan, and closures for all heart and leg procedures. You will perform device insertions such as pacemakers and ICDs. Experience in interventional radiology and electrophysiology is preferred, but training will be provided. Candidates must hold an ARRT with a state license or RCIS certification. Skills required include accessing and managing ports, accurate monitoring, cardiac ablation, and stent placement. Additional skills preferred are fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement and removal, and insertion/programming of AICDs. Experience with various cardiac procedures including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiac cath lab, and transcatheter aortic valve implantation is also needed. Candidates should exhibit expertise in sterile technique, maintain a sterile field, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Excellent teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams are essential.
