Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $1,760 per week in Clovis, NM

License: State PT Assistant license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Team player with flexibility. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment. Description: Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, applies a variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders. Treats patients regarding the application of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development for patients served. Oversees and ensures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient. Promotes patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence. Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care. Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during the episode of care. Acts as a patient advocate.
