Akkodis is seeking a

System Administrator

for a

contract

with a client in

Austin, TX.

The candidate must be highly proficient in AWS DevOps SRE. Responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability through automation and monitoring.

Rate Range:

$55/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:

Manage and maintain servers, networks, and system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations. Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware components. Implement and enforce security policies, including user access controls and system monitoring. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for compliance and future reference. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role. Strong expertise in managing Windows and Linux server environments. Proven experience with network administration and security best practices. Pay Details:

$55.00 to $60.00 per hour
