Travel Surgical Tech - $2,086 per week in Green Bay, WI

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN Certifications: CST, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with Robotics (DaVinci XI) - Ability to assist with intubation/extubation and patient positioning - Experience in ENT, Endovascular, Minor Vascular, and Robotics Description: Performs a variety of preparatory, scrubbing, and related services necessary to provide patient service in the operating room. Assists with surgical cases in all specialty areas. Helps with ancillary tasks as needed, such as cleaning, outdates, picking, and putting away supplies. Assists in assembling instrumentation in sterile processing. No call is required, but may work on holidays and some weekends. Experience with general, robotics, bariatrics, ophthalmology, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, urology, ENT, plastics, and endovascular cases is preferred. Tech-to-patient ratios are 1:1. Telemetry monitoring is available, as anesthesiologists monitor patients. Must be able to float between the main OR and East side. Basic skills include scrubbing, assisting with sterile processing, and patient positioning. Responsibilities also include room turnover, refilling gases, conducting safety checks on equipment, and stocking supplies. Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts on the unit.
