QA Automation Engineer

for a

Contract

job with a client in

Irving, TX . The ideal candidate will have professional software testing experience, with strong automation skills across backend, UI, and API components.

Rate Range:

$38/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

QA Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:

Automate tests using homegrown and/or open-source test frameworks. Collaborate across teams to develop solution-based test plans and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Maintain awareness of other NCRVOYIX product lines to assess impact on overall solution. Perform backend, UI, and API testing; sustain current processes and implement new ones. Manage QA environments and plan for future improvements. Analyze user stories and business requirements to estimate quality risks. Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree. 7+ years of professional software testing experience. Proficiency in multiple languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript). 1-2 years of experience with object-oriented programming principles. At least 1 year of experience with Python focused on testing frameworks and automation. 1+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript in test automation. Pay Details:

$38.00 to $44.00 per hour
