Travel Echo Tech - $2,820 per week in Gig Harbor, WA

Job Title: Echo/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Echocardiography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, RDCS or RCS Must-Have: Minimum 1 year echocardiography experience Description: The Echo/Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for conducting echocardiograms. This position will require the ability to rotate among inpatients, emergency department, and outpatients. The department has 3 scanners and 2 rooms available for use. The Echo/Cardiac Sonographer may be required to float to other sites as needed. An average of 8 echocardiograms is expected to be performed per day. Experience with EMR and PACS systems, specifically using Epic and Change Healthcare CV PACS, is preferred. The department utilizes Philips Epiq equipment. The position does not require starting IVs and does not involve the use of Registered Radiology Assistants. There is no radiologist on-site. On-call requirements include responding 2 days per week. Scrub color is black pants with any solid color top. Department-specific orientation will be provided prior to starting. This position may involve weekends and holiday work as required.
