Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years as a full-time sonographer License: Required Certifications: RDCS or RCS, BLS Must-Have: HARDSTOP Philips equipment experience Xcelera experience Level 1 trauma experience with inpatient experience Experience working as a full-time sonographer for at least 2 years at a single facility Experience in adult acute care and outpatient situations Experience with transthoracic echocardiograms Experience with Impella and ECMO/ECLS devices is preferred Description: We are seeking a competent, self-motivated, and team-oriented echo sonographer interested in broadening their clinical and interpersonal experiences. This position involves performing 6-8 studies per day. The patient population includes trauma and burn patients, stroke and surgery patients, and non-English speaking uninsured/underinsured individuals. There will be weekend requirements, including 2 Saturday shifts per 13-week contract. On-call coverage is required with 4 standby shifts per month. The role does not involve floating to sister facilities. Candidates must have experience in adult and geriatric care.
