Hidden Shores Resort is looking to fill a full-time, year-round position on our Operations Department. Must be willing to work weekends and major holidays. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. We offer a monthly fuel allowance to aid in travel to and from work. 1-week paid vacation after 1 year employment. Review of performance give after 90 days with possible wage increase based on performance.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Maintain garden beds by planting, weeding, and watering plants
- Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
- Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration of plants
- Remove debris and leaves from outdoor areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas
Experience
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning and trimming
- Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
