The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00. The average daily census is 11 patients. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. A weekend day will be required to work. The department operates 7 days a week. Candidates should be comfortable floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates. There is no on-call requirement for this position. Candidates should have experience with patient transport to and from treatment. The unit may involve working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The charting system used is Cerner. Candidates are expected to adhere to quality and patient safety standards. Candidates should possess skills related to acute care, assessment, and management of various medical diagnoses. Experience with special procedures and equipment is preferred.
