Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of EP Lab Clinical experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit preferred Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner - Electrophysiology Lab experience - Hemodynamic monitoring experience - EKG settings experience in inpatient, outpatient, and obtaining vitals Description: The position involves working in the Electrophysiology Lab. Candidates will provide support for various electrophysiology studies and procedures. This includes cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, and device implants. Responsibilities also involve performing ablations for atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia. Maintaining sterile fields and ensuring the proper setup of equipment is essential. The role requires monitoring patients and accurately recording data. Knowledge of equipment such as X-Ray machines and 3D mapping is necessary. A daily caseload average of 18 patients is expected. Candidates should be comfortable working with various patient age groups, primarily adults and geriatrics. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role.
