Overview

The Overnight Crew Member is responsible for delivering a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service during overnight hours, including front desk duties, member sign-up, and club cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities, including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the system and facilitate new member sign-up through the Planet Fitness App.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts and collect balances.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Clean the entire club during overnight shifts.
• Be available to work weekend overnights from 10 PM – 6 AM, with additional overnight shifts during the week if needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Typing skills are preferred.
• Ability to work weekends overnight.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Overnights).
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with cleaning supplies and chemicals during shift.
