Travel Surgical Tech - $1,309 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech/Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) preferred. License: State license required. Certifications: NBSTSA certification required; BLS certification required. Must-Have: Clienttion badge provided by the agency; trauma level experience preferred; open to first-timers. Description: This position requires working in a fast-paced surgical environment. The Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in various surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and ready for use. The Technologist must be prepared to support a variety of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The OR team consists of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists, functioning collaboratively. The role may necessitate floating between units based on facility needs. The facility provides high-level trauma care within a teaching environment. A commitment to maintaining cutting-edge practices and technologies is essential. Rotating weekend shifts will be required, as well as holiday rotation. Additional responsibilities may include participating in emergency response during hurricane season. All time off must be included in the initial submission. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with a pending state license must provide proof of application. Travelers must be aware of hurricane season and potential emergency assignment requirements. Compliance with pre-start processes is necessary prior to beginning the assignment.
